Lead Pastor

When my family moved to Lafayette to plant City of God, we couldn’t have imagined what God would do in and through this church. I am so thankful to be a part of this community, and it is a joy to serve this congregation.

I grew up in Versailles, KY, and eventually moved to Joplin, MO, for college. My wife and I met at Ozark Christian College, and after graduating, we served for three years at a church in Fishers, IN. We moved to Lafayette in 2009 to plant City of God, and I have been serving as the Lead Pastor ever since.

I don’t have much free time outside of school (pursuing a Ph.D. at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary). Still, when I have free time, you can find me spending time with my family, reading, slowly trying to improve at chess, or rooting on the Kentucky Wildcats.
